The local picker needs a local <webview> (main injects the overlay via executeJavaScript), so streamed pages only offered a disabled placeholder. - useGrabMode takes an optional driver; the remote pane drives it with browser.eval hit-tests at screencast coordinates, draws the highlight over the frame, and crops the element screenshot from it. Payloads go through the same clampGrabPayload guard, and the annotation store/tray/send-to-agent are reused. - Pure grab scripts and clampGrabPayload move from src/main/browser to src/shared/browser-grab (local scripts byte-identical, hash-tested). - No new RPC or capability: browser.eval exists wherever a page streams. - docs(features): browser-remote-annotations.
